Plate type hopper feeding devices are used for feeding single-piece cylindrical billets for further heating to preset temperature. Applied for feeding single-piece cylindrical billets, diameter D = 90-160 mm, length L = 150-700 mm, ratio L/ D ≥ 1,5.
