OVAL PASS-THROUGH INDUCTORS

Apply for heating of cylindrical, prismatic and figurate billets in two lines far and wide of axis.

Applied for heating cylindrical, prismatic and off-gage billets. Inductors are used for heating billets along and across the axis.

Maximum heating temperature – 1300 °C. Heating elements are produced with heat insulation made of concrete or ceramics.

Lifetime of the heat insulation (except when in contact with the billet) is 3000-10000 hours. It depends on the heating temperature and switching speeds.

Lifetime of the cooled guide ways is 500-3000 hours (depends on the working temperature, output capacity and the condition of the contact surface of the billet).

THE INDUCTORS ARE EQUIPPED WITH

  • Centerfeed cooling system
  • Side face of the inductor is protected by copper sheet
  • System protecting induction coil from overheating
  • Cooled guide ways
