CERAMIC INSERTS

Ceramic inserts are applied for heat insulation of the heated billet from the induction coil in cylindrical inductors

Inserts are made of material with thermal expansion coefficient close to zero.

Working temperature up to 1300 °C.

 Life of ceramic inserts (except contact to a billet) is 500-2000 hours. It depends on heating temperature and switching speeds.

Maximum diameter of an insert – 300 mm. Maximum length – 2 diameters.

CERAMIC BLOCKS

Ceramic blocks are applied for heat insulation of the heated billet from the induction coil in inductors of various shapes.

Blocks are manufactured from the material that has thermal expansion coefficient close to zero.

Working temperature up to 1300 °C.

Lifetime of ceramic blocks (except contact to a billet) is 3000-10000 hours. It depends on the heating temperature and switching speeds.
